HtH has a couple of meanings the first being a reminder that we play an important role in ensuring that we turn our clients house into a home by removing the stress in the certification process.
The second meaning that is close to my heart is the two H's stand for the first letter in my Children's names Harrison and Harper.
A building approval cost will depend on the size and complexity of what you are building. If you send a copy of your plans, we will be able to determine whether any additional application are required and provide a quote.
Yes, and yes. All applications will require a set of plans for assessment.
As long as they are to scale, and all required information is detailed on the plans. Please note that some Council applications will require plans from an architect or draftsman.
Once all the required information is submitted to our office and we have completed our assessment to determine compliance with the relevant planning and building requirement we will then be able to issue a building approval.
Once you have received this building approval you will be able to commence the building work.
An Engineer is able to carry out structural inspections on particular aspects of the project, but the Engineer must first be assessed by HtH Certification as a Competent Person.
Certain Stages of the approval can only be done by HtH Certification.
Once the building work is completed you can contact our office via email to arrange for a final inspection to be carried out. Once this final inspection is carried out and we have received the relevant certificates (These certificates will be listed in your building approval). We will be able to finalise your application and issue the relevant final certificate (Form 11, 17 or 21 depending on the scope of works)
